I once had a discussion with someone whether or not you need a special talent for drawing. I think not. To prove my point, I will try to publish one or more drawings every day on this blog, and see what the result is after 365 days.
Of course, you do need talent to become a master draftsman. However, I think that everyone is able to produce a clear drawing of something you see in front of you. You only need to have discipline and lots of practice. It is a skill that can be learned, and it is nothing special or magical.
And about the name of this blog, zoenlood, the Dutch word "zoen" can be translated as "kiss", and "lood" as "led". Think of it as a pencil that is kissing the paper. That is how you should create your initial sketch, loose and exploring what is possible.
